Dear friend, An International Conference of “Solidarity with the Palestinian & Arab Prisoners and Detainees in Israeli Occupation Jails", sponsored by the League of Arab States and hosted by the Republic of Iraq, will be held on 11 & 12 of December 2012 in Baghdad. Many lawyers, intellectuals, artists and activists in the Arab countries have signed a petition condemning the attempt by the Government of Iraq to exploit the suffering of the Palestinians at the hand of the Israelis. After the US-led invasion in 2003, Palestinians in Iraq were subject to discrimination, sectarian violence and ruthless killing by the Iraqi government and various militia groups.  Read more … Under these circumstances it would be hypocritical to organize a conference” in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails”. The Iraqi government should first come to terms with its criminal behaviour against its own Palestinian refugee population. That’s why I am seeking your support to boycott this conference and to discourage anyone from attending. Cher ami, chère amie, une conférence internationale de « Solidarité avec les prisonniers palestiniens et arabes des prisons de l'occupation israélienne », à l'initiative de la Ligue arabe et accueillie par la République d'Irak, se tiendra les 11 & 12 décembre 2012 à Bagdad. De nombreux avocats, intellectuels, artistes et activistes à travers les pays arabes ont signé une pétition condamnant la tentative faite par le gouvernement d'Irak pour exploiter la souffrance des palestiniens qui sont aux mains des Israéliens. Après l'invasion conduite par les USA en 2003, les palestiniens en Irak ont été sujets à discrimination, violence sectaire et meurtres sans pitié par le gouvernement irakien et divers groupes militaires. Lire plus… Dans ces circonstances il serait hypocrite d'organiser une conférence « en solidarité avec les prisonniers palestiniens des prisons israéliennes ». Le gouvernement irakien devrait d'abord admettre son comportement criminel envers sa propre population de réfugiés palestiniens. C'est pourquoi je recherche votre aide pour boycotter cette conférence et décourager quiconque d'y assister. Estimado lector, La Conferencia Internacional "Solidaridad con los Presos Palestinos y Árabes y los Detenidos en las  Cárceles de la Ocupación Israelí", auspiciada por la Liga Árabe y acogida por la República de Iraq, tendrá lugar el 11 y 12 de diciembre de 2012 en Bagdad. Muchos abogados, intelectuales, artistas y activistas en los países árabes han firmado una petición condenando el intento del gobierno iraquí de explotar el sufrimiento de los palestinos a manos de los israelíes.  Desde la invasión liderada por EEUU en 2003, los palestinos de Iraq han estado sujetos a la discriminación, violencia sectaria y a una despiadada matanza por parte del gobierno iraquí y varias milicias. Leer más Bajo estas circunstancias, sería hipócrita organizar una conferencia "en solidaridad con los presos palestinos en las cárceles israelíes", ya que, en primer lugar, el gobierno iraquí debe solucionar su comportamiento criminal contra su propia población de refugiados palestinos. Beste vriend, Een internationale conferentie over “Solidariteit met de Palestijnse en Arabische gevangenen in Israëlische bezettingsgevangenissen”, gesponsord door de Liga van Arabische Staten, met als gastland de Iraakse Republiek vindt plaats op 11 en 12 december 2012 in Bagdad. Meerdere advocaten, intellectuelen artisten en activisten in de Arabische regio hebben een petitie ondertekend, waarin zij de de pogingen van de Irakese regering veroordelen omdat deze misbruik maakt van het lijden dat de Palestijnen te beurt valt dankzij Israël.  Na de door de VS geleide invasie in 2003, waren de Palestijnen in Iraq het slachtoffer van discriminatie, sektarisch geweld en medegenloze moordpartijen door de Irakese regering en door verschillende milities.  Lees meer ... Onder deze omstandigheden zou het hypocriet zijn een conferentie te organiseren “in solidariteit met Palestijnse gevangenen in Israëlische gevangenissen”  De Iraakse regering moet eerst in het reine komen met zijn crimineel gedrag tegen de eigen Palestijnse vluchtelingen.
